Effektiv Solutions is the group behind EffektivAI and EffektivWeb — Australian businesses putting AI to work inside the web solutions companies run on every day. Both are built, maintained and enhanced on the same underlying platform: EffektAI™.
We believe the businesses that win over the next decade are the ones that rebuild their web solutions around AI from the ground up. Why? Because the real benefit lies in AI's ability to fundamentally create much more value — upfront and ongoing — at a speed and cost never thought possible.
Effektiv Solutions exists to make that rebuild possible for every size of Australian business — from SMEs serious about their web presence or web applications, to enterprise and government who need help navigating this new paradigm. We do this through two brands that speak to very different customers, running on one platform that we built ourselves.
Effektiv Solutions was born out of WebAlive, founded in Melbourne's Docklands in 2003 — one of the earliest Australian firms delivering end-to-end web solutions for Australian businesses. Over the following two decades, the WebAlive team built web solutions for organisations across retail, sport, government, health, and industrial sectors, developing the hard-won sector knowledge and delivery discipline that no amount of venture capital can shortcut.
By 2026 it was clear that AI had structurally changed what was possible in software delivery. The cost of building and maintaining web solutions — anywhere AI could be applied — had dropped to a fraction of what it was in 2023. The question was whether to absorb that saving or pass it on to clients: not just as a lower price, but as the extra capacity to do far more for every client and deliver real success. The same directors and management team who had built WebAlive decided the answer was obvious — and built the firm they always wished existed.
The WebAlive heritage is not a footnote. It is the reason EffektivAI can make claims that a startup cannot.
As the group grows we'll build this section out to include the wider team. For now, these are the three founders — and the same three people who scope, lead and stay on every engagement.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems), Information Systems and Accounting, from Monash University. He has close to three decades in Australian software businesses, including early product teams at MYOB, time at Oracle Aconex, and six years as General Manager of WebAlive. Andrew leads every client relationship from first contact through delivery, and built the outcome-priced commercial model the group runs on today.

He has been Founder, Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of WebAlive since 2011. Ashiq is the principal architect behind EffektAI, and personally leads the first 90 days of every major engagement — the architecture, the eval rig, and the platform configuration are his before the wider team takes over.

A founding shareholder of WebAlive since 2003, he brings four decades in Australian and international capital markets across Merrill Lynch, UBS and 24 years at Credit Suisse, plus a term as Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed rhipe. Michael brings the capital structure and governance experience that lets the group engage enterprise and institutional clients on terms they recognise.

Effektiv Solutions Pty Ltd is the Australian group that owns EffektivAI and EffektivWeb, two operating brands that deliver AI-built web solutions to different markets, both running on the same underlying platform, EffektAI. Effektiv Solutions is based in South Yarra, Victoria (ABN 80 666 834 715).
EffektivAI serves enterprise, mid-market and government clients with AI-built software and business applications, while EffektivWeb serves small businesses with AI-built websites. Both brands are built on EffektAI, the group's shared delivery platform, so the same tested process runs underneath every engagement regardless of client size.
EffektAI is Effektiv Solutions' proprietary AI delivery platform — the eval rig, agent orchestration layer, Australian governance controls, and authorship trace system that both EffektivAI and EffektivWeb run on. Unlike a typical agency's delivery method, which usually lives in a few practitioners' heads, EffektAI encodes that method into software, and it ships to the client at the end of an engagement rather than staying locked to Effektiv Solutions.
Yes — Effektiv Solutions was born out of WebAlive, a Melbourne firm founded in the Docklands in 2003 that spent two decades delivering web solutions for Australian businesses across retail, sport, government, health and industrial sectors. Effektiv Solutions has three founders: Andrew Stebbing, Ashiq Rahman, and Michael Tierney. Andrew leads client relationships and the commercial model, Ashiq is the principal architect behind the EffektAI platform, and Michael brings capital markets and governance experience from a career spanning Merrill Lynch, UBS and Credit Suisse.
